The Ubud Festival in Bali finished another fascinating event last month.

We had a big team who went to represent Mud this year. Their analysis of the event will provide a rich contribution to our Strategic Planning Day early next year.

Our Signature Lunch was held on  Sunday, 10th November at Yalumba Winery.

Eric Beecher was an engaging and informative speaker.

The sellout of his new book at our  event demonstrated how engaged our members were at the lunch.

A topical set of issues indeed, with the rise of social media and News as soundbites.   

The 2024 MUD Literary Prize Winner was Kylie Needham for "Girl in a Pink Dress"; a compelling story about love and art.

Our judging panel are well into  reading entries for the 2025 Prize.

The judging panel for 2025 is Adelaide Writers Week Director Louise Adler, Laura Kroetsch Noel Grieve, David Sly and MUD committee members Andrew Saies (Chair), and Mandy Thomas.
